Glensound is pleased to present the award-winning DIVINE Audio Monitor, a Dante®/AES67 compliant, PoE powered loudspeaker featuring 4 AoIP audio inputs.  DIVINE won four awards at the NAB Show in Las Vegas in April 2019, including three Best of Show Awards from Radio World, TV Technology, and Sound & Video Contractor Magazines, in addition to Product of the Year in the inaugural NAB Show Awards, and a further two Best of Show Awards from TVB Europe and PSN Europe at IBC Amsterdam in September 2019.
Divine is a new concept in powered network audio monitors. Housed in a hardwearing fully sealed diecast enclosure, it is powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE) and boasts the very latest low-noise  high-output class D power amplifier.  Uniquely, a priority system is provided to allow one (or more) of the inputs to automatically duck another, useful for monitoring one source whilst listening to another when audio is present, such as sending show relay to theatre dressing rooms but having the stage manager’s call and building fire alarm take precedence when they’re active.

Ever experienced emotional responses to lighting? The clarity of sunlight or the beauty of a candle. They create a feeling and affect our well-being.

We also experience the negative effects of harsh, eye straining partial spectrum light. At Quasar Science, we are out to change the way our environment is experienced.

The traditional incandescent light bulb has been around for over 100 years and it has served us well. However this light source is inefficient and it is time for a change. The LED market is thriving as a sustainable option in today’s rapidly evolving world.

With the current push for a viable replacement for incandescent lamps, compact fluorescent or low-grade LEDs have rapidly filled this need and your daily environment is greatly impacted by the poor quality of light produced by these systems. With Quasar Science’s clean, color correct technology you will flip the light switch and your home or workspace is transformed with beautiful light that invites comfort, passion and possibilities.

Quasar Science is in a unique position to reach into the exclusive color methodology and technology of the entertainment and event lighting markets giving us the expertise to bring these unique attributes to every home, office, factory and studio.

There are countless environments could benefit from high color quality such as; event and motion picture lighting, laboratories, hospitals, office buildings, museums, art galleries, educational facilities, industrial as well as in the home. All of which would benefit from greater light quality and efficiency.

    About Vision Research

It all started in 1950 when a young, idealistic, engineer quit his job at Fairchild Camera to pursue a career in an industry that barely existed. He formed a brand new company named Photographic Analysis Company whose sales mark was "Research Through Photography."

High speed photography is an engineering tool, much as is an oscilloscope or a computer. It is a photographic technique that enables us to visualize and analyze motion. Especially motions that are too fast for the human eye or conventional cameras to perceive.

During the first forty two years of the company's existence high speed photographic images were generally "captured" on photographic film. The company excelled in teaching and applying high speed photography to numerous clients for a multitude of applications. The company also designed , manufactured and marketed products specific to the high speed photographic needs of its clients. The company's film based cameras were so widely accepted that they are national stock listed (NSN) by the US DoD.

In 1992 the company decided to form a separate entity that was to design and fabricate high speed electronic imagers that did not rely on photographic film for imaging. That "spin off" was later to be known as Vision Research® Inc. and their family of electronic imagers is currently marketed under the "Phantom®" trade mark.

Vision Research prides itself in the high resolution of its images, the power of its software, the reliability of its products and its high level of attentiveness and dedication to its customers. The company's innovative approach to high speed electronic "digital" imaging was recognized by the US Patent Office and was granted US Patent #5,625,412.

The future holds more technology innovation and unique products from Vision Research. The company's development goals include electronic imaging products with higher resolution and faster frame rates and "smarter" cameras with more powerful and robust software.

While hardware and software products are important, the company realizes that its key to future success is the same now as it was in 1950 and that is listening to and serving its customers.

  • GTC- The Guild of Television Camera Professionals

GTC- The Guild of Television Camera Professionals

The GTC was formed in 1972 and now has almost 1,400 members worldwide, working in all aspects of television and the wider industry including corporate and online. In 2016 the International Association of Wildlife Filmmakers became affiliated with the GTC, to include those specialising in wildlife and nature filming.

We are a non-profit making organisation, run by a voluntary council of camera professionals. The GTC is financed partly by members' subscriptions, but also by considerable sponsorship from a number of equipment manufacturers and suppliers. As a result, the GTC offers a channel for manufacturers to consult with working camerapeople when designing new equipment.

Our aim is to preserve the status of those working professionally with cameras and to establish, uphold and advance standards and expertise within our industry. To this end the Guild runs workshops for its members, a lively forum to share knowledge and many other benefits including special rates on Public Liability Insurance.

The GTC produces two publications: Zerb twice a year, and GTC In Focus four times per year.
